I haven’t been getting ready too much over winter holiday. Since I don’t have work or classes I have been lounging in comfy clothes and been keeping my face bare (things that don’t appear to photogenic for me!) I got a very late start today but was productive all the same. I did some stuff around the house, laundry, and made Chris a late lunch.
I also wrapped all the bits and bobs we bought for Christmas. Just little things for my family and for Chris’. We pack up tomorrow with the pups and head their way for the holidays!

Yesterday was a miserable day, well and truly. Grades from uni were officially posted and though my grades turned out to be good and decent, it still wasn’t exactly what I was wanting from so much effort into the semester.
I realize that molling over the grades won’t change them and neither will whining but I feel how I feel. (But there is always next semester, right?)

you're the nicest thing i've seen
Oklahoma weather is so temperamental! I ventured out to run some errands, mostly to get more potato and bits of bacon soup and wheat rolls for Chris, and dressed in a wool cardi paired up with double leggings but it was actually rather warm outside! The wind was a bit breezy but it did not feel like winter at all. Where is all my snow?

so, I'm seriously
interested in taking an illustration and a typography course but to take either of those I have to do a perquisite drawing class. Which I don’t want to take, at all.
Illustration and typography are more of an hobby-interest rather than a career-interest so I think it may be just something I learn on my own time.

Some private things have popped up recently that’s been causing Chris a lot of stress (not to mention how bonkers I’ve been going getting ready for finals week) so our carefree Friday afternoon in the city to go Christmas shopping and see a movie was our ticket to relief!
Unfortunately, our trip was delayed due to those said private matters. And the movie, Black Swan, was not playing...
but don't get me wrong
I really love my life right now. there are just a few things that tug at the sides of my mind sometimes, and I’d be much better off without them.
